How to play
Everyone gets one secret role. There's a single night where roles quietly look at and swap cards, then one day to argue, and one vote. If the village kills a werewolf, the village wins. If not, the werewolves win.
1. Setup
One person hosts a game and shares the 4-letter code. Any number of people can join on their own phones (you need at least three to deal). The host picks the roles: the deck always has three more cards than players. The three extra cards go face down in the center, so nobody knows for sure which roles are really in play. They're always numbered 1, 2 and 3, the same for everyone, so you can say exactly which card you looked at or took.
A good first game: two Werewolves, a Seer, a Robber, a Troublemaker, and Villagers to fill the rest. Add the Minion, Tanner, Drunk and Insomniac once people know the basics. For a big party, use the Expansion preset — it adds the Apprentice Seer and extra wolves.
2. Look at your card
When the host deals, tap your card to see your role and read what it does. Don't show anyone. Tap I know my role when you're set.
3. Night
The host's phone is the narrator. Everyone closes their eyes. The narrator calls each role in order. When your role is called, your phone buzzes — open your eyes, do your action on your phone as quietly as you can, then close your eyes again.
Every phone that isn't being used shows the same dark screen, and every role is called even if its card is in the center, so nobody can tell who's awake.

Order matters. The Seer looks before the Robber and Troublemaker swap, so what the Seer saw may have moved. You never do the night action of a card you were swapped into.
4. Day
Everyone opens their eyes. You have a few minutes to talk. Claim a role, share what you saw, or lie. Your card may have been swapped without you knowing — you are whatever card is in front of you at the end of the night, not the one you started with.
5. Vote
Everyone votes at once for someone other than themselves. The player with the most votes dies; if there's a tie, everyone tied dies. If nobody gets more than one vote, nobody dies. If the Hunter dies, the player they voted for dies too.
6. Who wins
- Village wins if at least one werewolf dies — even if villagers die too. If no player is a werewolf (they're all in the center), the village wins only if nobody dies.
- Werewolves (and the Minion) win if no werewolf dies and the Tanner doesn't die.
- Tanner wins if the Tanner dies. The werewolves can't win that round.
- Minion with no werewolves among the players wins if anyone other than the Minion dies.
Tips
- Werewolves: claim a role that could be in the center. The lone wolf peeks for one.
- Ask people what they did and in what order — lies fall apart on the details.
- If the Robber or Troublemaker touched your card, you might be a werewolf now.
